We saw two red foxes crossing the road within the last two weeks. One was in Inks Lake State Park, but the other was about six miles away, crossign the highway close to Burnet. At the Texas Parks and Wildlife Expo, I learned that the department had “planted” some foxes in the area, so there’s more foxes now than in the recent past. The foxes were added to the ecosystem to control rodent overpopulation.
