Johnson City Lights Spectacular

We took the above photos last weekend in Johnson City (after missing out turn onto Highway 71 on the way back to Austin from the lakehouse). The missed turn was lucky; we'd forgot how spectacular Johnson City can be this time of year. The city's Lights Spectacular lasts from November 25 through New Year's Day and includes buggy rides through the lights and events like the "Living Story of Christmas" performances and the Holiday Wine Trail.

The first couple of weekends in December, the Burnet stay will extend into the night to allow passengers to stay around for Christmas lights and festivities.
