Hill Country Flyer
The Hill Country Flyer, a passenger train powered by a steam locomotive, makes regular weekend runs from Cedar Park near Austin to Burnet. The flyer is operated by The Austin Steam Train Association. The first couple of weekends in December, the Burnet stay will extend into the night to allow passengers to stay around for Christmas lights and festivities. More information at austinsteamtrain.org.
